Gaitor is owned and loved by Darcy
& Sarita Chapdelaine. He was in the midst of a promising show
career, when he was struck by a car while chasing a rabbit. Since that
time he has been shown very sparingly to sighthound specialist, due to the fact
that one side of his skull was broken, and he has a bit of a crooked face.
Luckily this accident did not affect his temperament or attitude.
Gaitor received and Award of Merit at the 1st Canadian
National Whippet Club Specialty under Mr. Allan Pepper (Alery)
