Nasusa Hamrya Its All About Me (ME) wins a group 2nd at the Alberta Sporting Hound Association Specialty under Mr. Dana Cline June 28/08: I flew out to Ontario to attend the National Whippet Club of Canada Specialty. I didn't take any dogs from Alberta, but showed two of my dogs that live out their with their co-owners. Can.Am.Ch. Nasusa That's The Way It Is (Ripley) was awarded Best Veteran in Specialty, and her grandson, Ch. Nasusa Medal Of Honor (Gizmo) won an Award of Merit May 18/08: Softouch Finders Keepers (Loimu) wins Best of Breed and 40 points coursing today & Ch. Hamrya Nasusa What About Me, SC (Quiz) was awarded NBQ. May 17/08: Ch. Nasusa Hamrya Its All About Me (ME) wins Best in Field & Best in Specialty Show at the Foothills Gazehound "Show and Go" lure trial. Softouch Finders Keepers (Loimu) picks up a 4th placement at the trial for his first points at his first lure trial. May 14/08: Loimu and CNa's puppies have arrived safe and sound. We have 1 black brindle and 7 fawn and whites. There are 4 boys and 4 girls April 20/08: Ch. Hamrya Nasusa What About Me, SC (Quiz) picks up a 4th at the AWC coursing meet. December 2/07: Softouch Field of Dreams (Mango) is awarded Winners Dog and his first points under Mr. James Reynolds November 30/07: I finally decided to enter Nasusa Hamrya Its All About Me (ME) at a dog show. She hasn't been shown in Canada since August of 2006. She finished her Canadian Championship with a Best of Winners under Virginia Lyne. November 22-25/07: Ch. Hamrya Nasusa What About Me (Quiz) goes coursing again, and picks up 2 firsts, a second and a fourth at the Turkey run in Los Alamitos, CA November 3/07: Softouch Finders Keepers (Loimu) attended his first dog show and was awarded with Winners Dog and his first point toward his championship. October 6 & 7/07: Hamrya Nasusa What About Me (Quiz) & Nasusa Hamrya Its All About Me (ME) attended their first American field trial, with some nice results. Quiz was awarded a 2nd & 4th, while ME won a 3rd. Quiz has placed at all the trials she has coursed in. September 15 & 16/07: Hamrya Nasusa What About Me (Quiz) attended her first coursing meet this weekend with some nice wins. Quiz won a 4th and a Best of Breed for her first 50 points. We are very proud of our Puzzle x Bandita girls. August 13/07: Ch. Nasusa Moonstruck (Brat's) "Dirty Dozen" puppies have arrived. I feel bad for Susan having to raise 12 Whippet puppies! Good Luck with that Susie! August 12/07: Hamrya Nasusa Me Too (MeTu) delivered a litter of 3 puppies August 3 & 4/07: While Susan was away in Finland, Skye the veteran Scottie, Ch. Stalwart's Champagne, had a very nice weekend. She was awarded Best Veteran in Specialty at the All Terrier Club of Alberta under: Grete Bergendahl (Norway). She was also Awarded Best of Opposite Sex and Best Veteran in Specialty at the Canadian Scottish Terrier Regional Specialty under: Peggy Beisel-McIlwaine (USA). She was shown by David McVeigh. August 1/07: I have patiently waited for 3 years for puppies from the Regal x Puuma (Softouch Sweet Medicine) breeding, and finally the grandchildren from this breeding: Softouch Field of Dreams (Mango) & Softouch Finders Keepers (Loimu) have arrived safe and sound from Finland. Thank you Pirjo! June 24/07: Nasusa Patagonian (Kanook) finishes her American Championship under Mr. Jerry Watson. April 4-7/07: At the AWC National: We had a great time in Kansas City. Hamrya Nasusa What About Me (Quiz) went back to the USA for a visit, and placed 3rd in the huge Bred by Exhibitior class. The biggest thrill of the week was when Regal's son, Am.Ch. Starline's Masterpiece, won Best In Show from the Veteran's class. Remy is owned by Ed & Mary Jean Odron & Lori Lawrence, and bred by Lori Lawrence, Daniel Lockhart & Cherie Virden. We congratulate all those involved with Remy! March3/07: I finally decided to enter Quiz at another show since her Canadian debut in August of 2006, and the results were very rewarding. Hamrya Nasusa What About Me (Quiz) finished her Canadian Championship by winning BOW & BOS again!, under Mr. John Ross (Counterpoint Whippets). In Ontario, Nisha showed Ch. Nasusa Medal Of Honor (Gizmo) wins BOB under Mr. Sean Shields. February 3/07: Nasusa Hamrya Fine By Me (Mea) is awarded winners bitch for her first 2 points under Mrs. Elena Spector (Argentina). We are proud of our puppies from this 2003 Whippet litter. July 11/03: Nasusa Kara-Kum (Stash) wins BOW & BOS & Best Puppy in Group at her very first show. This is quite impressive, as she is barely leash trained. She won BOW & BOS under Dr. Robert Berndt, and won the Puppy Hound Group under Sighthound specialist, Mr. Ole Nielson. She received many compliments on her wonderful front, front fill and effortless side gait. July 4/03: New Canadian Championship for Nasusa Pinnacle (Dash) by winning a Group 2 and Best Puppy in Group under Mrs. Barb Beland June 29/03: Can.Ch. Mrs. Joan Anselm awards her WB, BOW, BOB from the 12 - 18 month class, and Dr. Richard Greathouse awards her a Group 4th. August 25/01: Nasusa Don't Ask Why (Gracie) wins her first points, and its a MAJOR at Lawrenceville Kennel Club under Mrs. Elaine Rigden. Great start Gracie! August 6/01: Ch. Nasusa Windchase For Kicks (CNa) wins a Group 2nd at the Alberta Kennel Club under Mr. Bill Taylor. August 5/01: Ch. Nasusa Windchase For Kicks (CNa) wins a Group 2nd at the Alberta Kennel Club under Mr. Joseph Gregory. In the United States, Can.Ch. Nasusa What Can I Say (Trouble) wins WB at River Valley KC under Ms. Judy Harrington. August 4/01: Ch. Nasusa Windchase For Kicks (CNa) wins the GROUP at the Alberta Kennel Club under Mr. Eugene Blake. Can.Ch. Nasusa What Can I Say (Trouble) wins WB at Roanoke KC under Mr. George Heitzmann. August 3/01: CNa and Brassy take a trip home to Alberta for several all breed shows and specialties. Can.Sel.Am.Ch. July 14/01: We have PUPPIES!!!!!!!!!! Lucy delivered a beautiful litter of 7 from our 14 year old Drake. June 24/01: Can.Sel.Am.Ch. Nasusa Raise The Curtain, FCh (Brassy) wins her 10th career BISS at the Ontario Sighthound Specialty over an entry of 247. Mr. Dana Cline awarded her BOB and sent her to Dr. Suzanne Morrow-Francis whom bestowed BISS on her. What a thrill for us old girls!!!!! June 22/01: Can.Am.Ch. Nasusa Cacique (Regal) wins Group 1st at the Hamilton KC under Mrs. Paula Hartinger. June 17/01: Nasusa Whippets attend the Whippet Club of Eastern Canada under breeder judge, Mr. Richard Rupert, and have a stellar day. Mr. Rupert keeps the winning in the family. Can.Am.Ch. Nasusa Cacique (Regal) wins BISS, his daughter, Ch. Nasusa That's The Way It Is (Ripley) wins BOSS, and his mother, Can.Sel.Am.Ch. Nasusa Raise The Curtain, FCh (Brassy) wins the only Award of Merit. June 16/01: New Canadian CHAMPION Nasusa What Can I Say (Trouble). Trouble wins a BOB and Group 2nd at Monarch Kennel Club under Mr. Ray Filburn, Jr. She repeats at the All Hound Club of Ontario Specialty in the afternoon under Mr. John Wade. June 15/01: Nasusa What Can I Say (Trouble) start on her Canadian Championship at Monarch KC under Mr. Lawrence Stanbridge by going BOW. She wins BOW again that afternoon at the Great Lakes Whippet Specialty under Mr. Michael Canalizo. June 2/01: Ch. Nasusa Windchase For Kicks (CNa) makes her American debut at the AWC Eastern Specialty. She wins her class at both the sweepstakes (judge: Diane Bowen) and the regular classes (judge: Dr. Robert A. Indeglia). May 5/01: Nasusa What Can I Say (Trouble) attends her first dog show at Bucks County Kennel Club and wins her first Major. What a way to start. |
