Unfortunately on March 21, 2010 Ken and Karen were faced with the awful decision of having to euthanize Sage from a mysterious coursing accident.  Nobody at the field saw the dog crash or fall, however, he had a severe luxation of the C5 & C6 vertebrae in his neck.  He was also well on his way to his oval racing title.

This wonderful little dog will be sadly missed by many!

On June 16/09 Sage wins BOW for his first major under Mrs. Mary Ann Alston.  Sage is shown by Curtis Freeling.
