Lucy is the bitch that I chose to keep out of the Reign
litter. She was truly the ugly duckling. As the story goes, she did
grow into a beautiful swan. She is my pride and joy, and a thrill to live
with. She is an exceptional sound moving bitch, with a wonderful attitude
towards life. Nothing fazes this bitch. She is a Multi-Specialty,
Multi-Puppy In Show and Multi-Group winner. She finished her championship in
Canada and the United States easily. She is also pointed in the field.

A couple of my cherished moments showing her were both at AWC
Nationals, in 1996 when she placed second in the Bred By Exhibitor bitch class (Julie
Holm) and in 1999 when she received her Award of Merit from Betty Stites.
Lucy has also been selected as an Award of merit at The Canadian National
Specialty.

The Dick Francis Litter
In June 2000 Lucy whelped her first litter, sired by Am.Can.Ch.
Starline's Amber Legend, SC. The Saxon Shore/Starline/Nasusa combination had been successful for us, and
others in the past, so we chose to go that route again with Lucy. Legend
is the spitting image of his father. He is a very
pretty, moderate dog. I had the privilege of showing Legend in Canada to
complete his Canadian Championship, and what a thrill to show this dog!! Thank
you Linda Stewart for bringing him to Canada.

This litter was co-bred with our very good friends,
Darcy & Sarita Chapdelaine (Windchase
Whippets) of Calgary. Again, we were not disappointed.
This litter produced beautiful bodies, bone, type and side gait.
Both CNa and Puzzle are group winners!

Litter
For Lucy's second litter we chose another Saxon Shore Amber Waves son. We
chose one of our own males from the Jason x Lexie litter, Ch. Nasusa Taymarc
Drakkar. He is 14 years old, and he didn't let us down! We have a
beautiful litter of 7.
The
"High" Point Litter
For Lucy's last litter we chose a young dog named Ch. Airescot Gold
Field.
He is a handsome, smaller solid fawn brindle.
